Tank Louis Cartier "PARIS" dial model wear review
This model was released in 1973 and is one of the models in the Louis Cartier Collection.
To put it simply, the Louis Cartier Collection is a collection created in tribute to Louis, the third generation, who elevated Cartier to a world-famous brand.
Also, the country of manufacture located under the 6 o'clock position on the dial is usually SWISS, but for this collection it says PARIS.
This is why it is called the PARIS dial.
The case is made of 18K yellow gold and has a diameter of 23mm.
It may seem small by modern standards, but it is still a men's size.
In the 1970s, smaller watches were more fashionable than they are today, so basically all brands made their cases smaller than they do today.
With these prerequisites in mind, I actually tried wearing it on my arm.
The photo shows me wearing it, with an arm circumference of about 17cm.
I don't usually wear large watches, so this is just the right size and fits comfortably on my wrist.
Cartier was originally a jewelry company and specializes in dress watches, so they go well with jacket styles.
If you often wear jackets as part of your everyday wardrobe, I think Cartier watches go very well with themπ
My impression after wearing this model is that wearing the even smaller "PARIS" dial on a small watch makes me feel great.
Most people probably don't understand the value of the "PARIS" dial, but I think you can still enjoy it just by knowing about it.
I think it's truly a self-satisfying watch.
But, don't you think that a man who is particular about his watch like this looks cool to other men?
An intelligent, mature man with strong opinions...
I guess that's how it is.
I think it is this Tank Louis Cartier and the power of the "PARIS" dial that makes our daily lives more fulfilling.
I felt that way π
