1970s Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref.1024

Sale price¥640,000

This is a 1970s Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 1024.

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 1024 was introduced in the 1960s with an Oyster case and a Perpetual automatic winding movement.

The case of this model is made of stainless steel and is gold plated.

Therefore, it gives off a luxurious feel without being gaudy, and gives off a glamorous impression.

The charm of the dial and the caliber

The Ref. 1024 features an understated yet sophisticated dial design.

The simple bar indexes and bar hands, as well as the center second hand, give the watch an elegant and sophisticated look.

What's particularly noteworthy about this watch is the color of the dial.

The dial color is greige.

Greige is a color between gray and beige, and I think it is a very rare and stylish color among Rolex dials.

The movement used is the Cal. 1570, a reliable automatic movement that boasts a 42-hour power reserve.

This movement is highly acclaimed for its precision, robustness and longevity, further cementing the Cal. 1570 as a timeless classic.
